Cash Register Dies
Most older style cash registers have a mount inserted that contains a self inking message stamp. The manufacturer supplied one usually says "Your Receipt Thank You". This stamp is replaceable with a custom made stamp featuring information such as your business name, ABN and telephone number. Each register has a different size stamp which means the amount of information will range from one line through to around four lines depending on the available space on your stamp.
Custom made register dies are very durable and are available in black ink only. They should be re-inked using Optimark re-inking fluid which we recommend you do whenever you notice the impression starting to fade. The best way to re-ink your die is to remove the mount from your cash register, lay it down face up, place a few drops of ink onto the surface and allow the ink to absorb into the die overnight. You can then replace your mount the following morning.
